Why Shaving Is A Lose Lose Process

I hate shaving. I think that shaving is a lose/lose game. When it comes to shaving, I think that the following is generally true:

1. You're running late, but need to shave.
2. You've got plenty of time, but need to shave.
3. You have a beard, so should shave.

Let's look at those in a bit more detail.

1. You're running late, but need to shave.
Okay, so you should already be out the door, but you really need to shave. So you rush into the bathroom, fill the basin, and splash water on your face. You put whatever product you use on your face, grab your razor, and slash your face quickly. But then you cut yourself. Which is really annoying, because it then will go on your shirt. And now you're still in a rush, but your face is bleeding and you've got blood on your shirt. Fantastic.

2. You've got plenty of time, but need to shave.
This is the best sitation to be in, but it takes time. I read recently what the best way to shave is, and I try to follow it. Here's what I do. Take a shower. Put some face cleansing stuff on, and leave that to 'soak'. Finish my shower, wash the face cleansing stuff off. (That, combined with the hot water, apparently helps the pores open and whatever, making it easier to shave). Then, apply the shaving stuff (personally, I use gel, but some may use oil or foam.) Then I shave, going down the face first. Wash off the gel, apply some more, then shave up the face. This gives a great smooth shave. Wash the gel off, splash the face with cold water (closes the pores), DAB the face dry (not rub), apply aftershave balm. When I do it like that, I have a great shave, and rarely cut myself. But it does take ages.

3. You have a beard, so should shave.
Personally, having a beard is not an option for me. One, I don't want the hassle of having to trim a beard, two, I don't want food bits stuck in my face. Three, my wife would freak out big time.

So, in conclusion, there's nothing that can be done. I need to shave. It's annoying. If you rush it, it generally causes more problems. If you take your time, then it takes up time. And if you don't shave, you've got a beard.

Lose, lose, lose.

The Man Diet - Day 20 - Friday 25th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Today was fantastic. After a stressful day at work, I decided to go out on the bike. So I pedalled down to the running track, and did 5 laps of the track. Now, that may not seem like a lot to you, and from leaving the house to getting back only half an hour elapsed, but I felt overjoyed. I really felt as though I had accomplished something, and I would like to do this more often. I'm definitely going to be getting out on my exercise bike more frequently, and I may even make the running track a regular Friday night thing.

Also, I started The Special K diet today. So, one bowl for breakfast, one for lunch, and normal dinner. Can it work for me? I can but try...

On, then, to today's incomings:

07:00 - Special K with semi skimmed milk

09:00 - 1 glass of water

10:10 - 1 banana

11:20 - 1 Snack a jack

11:50 - 1 Snack a jack

12:20 - Special K with semi skimmed milk

14:10 - 1 glass of water

14:20 - 1 McFlurry

15:20 - 1 glass of water

15:30 - 1 apple

21:00 - Baked potato and pasta

Okay, so, apart from the McFlurry (which I had to do, because it was Friday...) I think that today went really well. I was absolutely STARVING by the time I had my dinner, because it was so late, but I was determined not to snack. I drank plenty of water today, including when I was on my bike ride.

If I keep this up, I could get slim - at last!

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Man Diet - Day 19 - Thursday 24th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, let me tell you this - it's Thursday. Anyone who reads this regularly knows what Thursday means... gulp...

Another eventless day at work. I'll not bore you with the details.

On to today's incomings:

07:00 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

09:00 - 1 glass of water

11:00 - 1 glass of water

12:20 - Two white bread rolls with tuna

13:00 - 1 glass of water

13:45 - 1 glass of water

13:50 - 1 breakaway (chocolate...)

15:05 - 1 glass of water

15:45 - 1 glass of water

17:00 - Pizza and chips

21:00 - Macaroni cheese

So that was that. Fortunately, no chocolate at the Grandmother-in-law's tonight, so I was saved. But I did have to have some Mac Cheese. I'll try to resist that next week...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Man Diet - Day 18 - Wednesday 22nd August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Not much to report again today. When I look in the mirror, I still look fat. But I don't know how I look compared to when I first started this, way back in January. Granted, I haven't kept to it the way that I should have, but it would be nice to think that I may have lost *some* weight...

Anyway, on to today's incomings:

07:00 - Weetabix x 2 and semi skimmed milk

08:30 - 1 glass of water

10:25 - 1 glass of water

12:30 - Ham and cheese baguette

13:55 - 1 glass of water

16:10 - 1 glass of water

18:00 - Lamb, potatoes, turnip

18:30 - Cadbury's Button yogurt

21:30 - Hot chocolate

22:20 - KitKat

I don't think that today was too bad, really. I think, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give myself... 6.5 Not bad! But there's always room for improvement...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

The Man Diet - Day 17 - Tuesday 21st August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Not a lot to report today, so I'll do it nice and quick...

07:00 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

09:15 - 1 glass of water

10:30 - 1 glass of water

12:30 - Potatoe and leek soup (really filling)

13:20 - 1 glass of water

16:00 - 1 glass of water

Can't remember what I had for dinner. I don't think I had much. In fact, I didn't eat much all day today. Not much water, no fruit, no snacks - fantastic! Apart from not eating fruit, that is...

I reckon I might try the Special K diet...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

The Man Diet - Day 16 - Monday 20th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, the diet was weird today. It started really well, then ended with me buying a car, buying a leather sofa, then going to Pizza Hut. For some extremely un-dieting food.

So here's how the day unfolded:

07:20 - Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

08:50 - 1 glass of water

10:45 - 1 glass of water

11:15 - Mars bar (where did that come from?)

12:10 - Two white bread rolls, with tuna

13:00 - 1 glass of water

14:00 - 2 tangerines (yay, healthy food!)

14:10 - 1 glass of water

17:00 - 2 cokes, ham and pineapple pizza (deep pan), garlic bread and profiteroles. Noooooo!

21:00 - Mocha and a bit of brownie

So, it wasn't too bad, apart from the fact that I had a Mars bar and then went to Pizza Hut. But let me tell you about my purchases! New car (Ford Fiesta, 1.4TDCi Zetec), to be picked up on Saturday. (BTW, anyone wanna buy my Nissan Almera? 2.2SDi Turbo - nice car...) Then I bought a sofa, chocolate leather, from Harveys, they had a sale on. Fantastic. Pay rise please!

Anyway, I'll keep you posted with my dieting results. I didn't take any pics today, you'll have to wait - I'm keeping off the scales for a bit, maybe the next time I get on them I will feel better...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

Apple Ipod - Evolution of a Species

The Apple Ipod. Have you got one? To many, it's the best thing since sliced bread, and definitely to be included in your 'must have' accessories.

And yet I haven't got one. I don't know why - I think they're great, and I think that perhaps I would like one - but I just haven't got around to getting one.

So whilst browsing the internet looking for one, I realised that there are, in fact, more than just one to choose from. In fact since the Ipod was released in 2001, there have been at least 16 variations produced.

So, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls - I present you with The Apple Ipod:

The 1st Generation Apple Ipod, produced from October 2001 until April 2003, was available in white with either 5 or 10Gb capacity.
The 2nd Generation Ipod didn't vary much. It was still only available in White, still available with 5Gb or 10Gb, but was also availalble with a 20Gb harddrive. Yeah, more songs! This was available from March 2002 until April 2003.
Then, in April 2003, and until September 2003, the 3rd Generation was available. Looking better, but still only available in white, the 3rd Gen was now available with a whopping 30Gb harddrive. Nice. Very nice.
In July 2004 (and until June 2005) the Apple Ipod 4th Generation was available. Looking better, and with a 40Gb hard drive, I think that perhaps I would happily accept one of these. But, there are far more to choose from...
The 4th Generation U2 Edition looks fantastic. With a 20Gb harddrive, it was available from October 2004 until June 2005. In black, with a red dial, it looks absolutely amazing. I think I'll have that one.
Wait! February 2005 saw the birth of something truly fascinating: The Ipod Photo. In white, with a 30Gb harddrive. Music and photos? Marvellous!
But check this out: June 2005 made way for the Ipod Colour, with a gigantic 60Gb harddrive. Hmm, have I even got enough songs to fill one of these...???
The Ipod 5th Generation (With Video) made it's first appearance in October of 2005. Available in a fresh white (well who would have guessed?) or fiendish black, it too could be purchased with either a 30Gb or 60Gb harddrive.
The Ipod 5th Generation Advanced was made available from September 2006. This edition was available with an 80Gb harddrive. Hmm, I think that I would have to get one of these... in black...
September 2006 also saw the released of the Ipod 5th Generation U2 Special Edition. Looking much better than the original, I must say...
And let us not forget the Ipod Mini's. Now, I don't really know what to make of these. First made available in January 2004, in five fresh colours, the Ipod Mini had a 4Gb harddrive.
It was improved in February 2005, when the Ipod Mini 2nd Generation was made available with the option of a 6Gb harddrive.
In September 2005, the Ipod Nano 1st Generation was released. Available with a 1, 2, or 4Gb harddrive, it could be purchased in either white or black.
Then came the Ipod Nano 2nd Generation, available in Silver, Green, Blue, Pink or Black. This was available with an 8Gb harddrive.
I really like this. Produced to raise money for Charity, the Ipod Nano Red is available with either a 4Gb or 8Gb harddrive. I think it looks awesome...
In January 2005, the Ipod Shuffle 1st Generation was released. With either a 512Mb or 1Gb harddrive, available in white, I have no idea how it works. I mean, how do you select your tracks? Weird...
Then, as if it couldn't get any stranger, Apple released this: The Ipod Shuffle 2nd Generation, with 1Gb capacity. But when you actually see it in the flesh, you can't help think, "But it's so small!"

After perusing these, and thinking very hard, I think that I will go for the Apple Ipod Video, Black Edition. Plenty of storage, fantastic looks. Now to find a great deal....

Tell me though, which Ipod's have you had? What have you got now? What would YOU recommend?

Cheers!

Coffee Please, Black. No Sugar. Two Drops of Sperm...

Alrighty There People!

Saw this, and couldn't help but post it.

Was at the Metro Centre on Monday evening, and saw a car with this design work on it. Obviously a coffee shop, but check out the 'steam' rising from the last letter...

Not the best picture, but you see what I mean. Talk about offputting...

Alrighty There People!

Returned from the lakes today, got back pretty early, had to nip out and grab some milk, but a very tiring day. Although it didn't take too long to get home really. Probably ate loads of junk in the car. Probably weigh about 17 stone now. Fantastic.

Until tomorrow,

Day 13 - Wednesday 15th August 2007

Still in the Lakes. Went to a place called Whinlatter Pass today, where I went on a mega long two hour bike ride. My legs are going to be aching tomorrow.... Then went into Keswick where I played mini golf. Great!

Day 10 - Friday 10th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Wait til you hear about what I did tonight! Okay, I can't wait to tell you. I got home from work, and the grass in the garden was long. I mean, really long. I last cut it the day that I went on holiday - 7th July - and it was overgrown. I mean, there were tigers living in there... So anyway, I haul out the lawnmower, and start on the front lawn. It's heavy going. I had to empty the box after doing 1 'lane'. Anyway, I finally manage to get the whole area done, but it was still long. So I did it again.

Then I went out the back, to the bigger garden. Again, I had to do it twice. TWICE! I nearly broke more than a sweat, I tell you! THEN, because I'm planning on selling the car (any offers? Nice car...), I took it to the garage and gave it a wash. 15 minutes on the jet wash, THEN chamois it down. My arm was absolutely killing me!

So I felt that I did a great deal of exercise tonight.

Anyway, on to today's incomings:

07:40 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

08:45 - 1 glass of water

10:50 - 1 glass of water

12:30 - 2 ham and cucumber white rolls

13:30 - 2 tangerines

15:10 - 1 glass of water

16:35 - 1 glass of water

16:40 - 1 banana

21:00 - Pasta

So that was today. I was well impressed with myself, both with what I ate and what I did. On to a good nights sleep!

Remember - no blogging over the weekend - so until Monday,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

Day 09 - Thursday 9th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, I am continuing with my mild exercising - 40 pressups on a morning, taking the stairs at work twice a day. Cool. It's not easy heaving this 13.5+ stone body up 6 sets of stairs you know!

On to today's incomings. Bear in mind that Thursday's are Grandmother in law day - lots of temptations to eat lots of chocolate and sweets...

07:30 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

08:45 - 1 glass of water

10:00 - 1 glass of water

11:00 - 1 glass of water

11:25 - 1 banana

12:45 - Cadbury's Dairy Milk

12:50 - Lion bar (it's Home Bargains - chocolate is so cheap!)

13:00 - 1 glass of water

14:20 - 1 glass of water

15:40 - 1 glass of water

18:00 - Bacon, eggs, chips - what a great meal for a dieting person!

22:00 - Macaroni Cheese, two pieces of chocolate and a glass of water

So, all in all, not too bad, considering. I must stop going to the shop at lunch time though, it's horrendous...

You may, for your amusement only, peruse the image of the scales below. Nothing's changed, I'm afraid. In fact, I;m very afraid...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

Day 08 - Wednesday 8th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, I had planned on going out on my bike after work, or at least going on my exercise bike... but I didn't. Why? Well... I just didn't. You know what it is though, you've spent the full day working, whether that's in the office, out and about or whatever. You come home, get changed (cos who wants to stay in their work clothes? Ugh), either get dinner ready, or, if it's ready, eat it. Then what? Options available: Go on the exercise bike. Go out on the bike. Watch a DVD. Go on the PlayStation. Go on the Wii. Come on, what do you think wins? Put it this way, it's not the exercise options. BUT IT SHOULD BE! That's what I need to get into my head. I shouldn't think, "Ah, sit down, get comfortable, let that meal just build up layers and layers of fat..." I should be thinking "NO! BURN that fat! SLIM that waist! PUT that Wiimote down - GET out their and RIDE!"

THAT is the attitude that I need.... Ah, soon, soon...

On to today's incomings:

07:30 - 2 Weetabix and semi skimmed milk

09:00 - 1 glass of water

10:00 - 1 glass of water

11:20 - 1 glass of water

12:30 - 1 glass of water

13:00 - Ham and cheese baguette (from Greggs...)

13:10 - Fudge donut (noooo! Greggs! EVIL!)

13:30 - 1 glass of water

14:30 - Banana

15:30 - 1 glass of water

16:10 - 1 glass of water

16:40 - 1 apple

I didn't write down what I had for dinner... but it wouldn't have been bad. Too bad.

Check out the scales below. Rubbish.

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

Day 07 - Tuesday 7th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, today started with another negative: Plonked myself on the scales, and still teetering between 13.5 and 14 stone. COME ON! Why won't the weight start coming off? Cheesh.

It's not as if I'm eating really unhealthily. Okay, I could be eating better... and I could be doing more exercise - but I'm taking the stairs! I'm doing press ups! Okay, okay, I need to be on the exercise bike as well.

Don't worry people, I'm not going mad, I just need to be harsh with myself at times...

Okay, on to today's incomings:

07:30 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk (Maybe I should change to Corn Flakes? Or Special K?)

08:30 - 1 glass of water

11:30 - 1 glass of water

12:30 - 2 white bread rolls, with corned beef and cucumber

13:00 - 1 glass of water

13:10 - Mini Toblerone and Cadbury's Dairy Milk (Groan... that's why I'm not losing weight - stop going to the shops at lunchtime, fool!)

14:00 - 1 glass of water

14:30 - 1 glass of water

15:00 - 1 glass of water

16:00 - 1 apple

18:00 - Potatoes, steak and onion pasty, peas

18:20 - Yogurt

22:00 - Hot chocolate and ginger biscuits

I know, I know - I'm wondering why I'm not losing weight, and I'm scoffing chocolate and biscuits. But hey, check out my water consumption! Nice.

Scales below.

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

Day 06 - Monday 6th August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, it's been a while since I blogged, hasn't it. I know that I've got a bit to catch up on, but keep reading and it should be up to date quite quickly. It's actually now Monday 20th August, but don't let that put you off - I've kept good records!

This day started with me rising early and taking the wife to work. Then I lashed to my office and bounded - okay, maybe I exagerated slightly - walked - up to the fourth floor. That's six sets of steps, with 8 stairs in each set. Oh yes. I must admit, though, that each day that I do this, it gets easier. I do this twice a day - I refuse to take the lift - and it's getting easier. Not to mention the 40 press ups I do every morning - they're very easy now - I need to consider upping the ante on that score.

Anyway, on to today's incomings:

07:30 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

09:10 - 1 glass of water

11:10 - 1 glass of water

11:20 - 1 apple

12:20 - 2 white bread rolls with corned beef and cucumber

13:00 - 1 glass of water

13:30 - 1 glass of water

21:50 - 1 large cookie

22:00 - Sweet and sour chicken with white rice

23:00 - Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

Okay, now you may be wondering why I had dinner so late. Here's what happened.

I finished work at 5.15. I went to pick my wife up from work, she finished at 6. We were both shattered. I said to her, "When we get home, let's go to bed and have a twenty minute nap. I'm not going to go on the sofa, I'm going to go to bed." She agreed, we both needed to have a refreshing nap. So we get home at about twenty past six, spend twenty minutes getting stuff sorted, and go to bed. I set my alarm on my phone for 7:10 - actually allowing half an hour. Jen wasn't impressed - she wanted more. We both turned our phones off so that we wouldn't be disturbed by messages and calls. Within seconds, or so it felt, my alarm went off. I turned it off. The next thing we know, it's dark, it's half nine, and our twenty minute nap had lasted three hours!

We obviously both needed the sleep, but it really felt like the evening had been wasted. In fact, we just wanted to go back to sleep, but we were both pretty hungry.

Let's hope that tomorrow is better!

Scale image below - it hasn't improved yet :(

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

The Dieting Man

Saturday 4 August 2007

Day 05 - Friday 03 August 2007

Alrighty There People!

Well, what can I say. It's FRIDAY! Get in. Love Friday's. It means it's the weekend. Cool. What are my plans? Cut the grass, go to the pictures, go out on my bike. That's about it. Rock On.

Today wasn't too bad - I didn't go for my lunch until half one, so the rest of the afternoon flew by. I did buy this horrible strawberry nougat - but I threw it away because it was gross. So I'm not including that below!

Anyway, I've attached the scales image from this morning, which you may find interesting... I've also attached a cool wallpaper for your enjoyment - Spud Wars. It's cool - featuring Darth Tater and Spud Trooper. If you haven't got them, go and get them. They're super cool.

Anyway, on to today's intakings:

Weight: 13:10

07:20 - 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk

07:50 - 40 pressups

08:30 - 1 glass of water

09:25 - 1 glass of water

10:15 - 1 banana
10:48 - 1 glass of water
11:10 - 1 tangerine

13:00 - Corned beef and cucumber in a granary french stick

13:45 - Cadbury's Double Dairy Milk
13:50 - Mini toblerone
14:10 - 1 glass of water
17:20 - 1 chocolate cookie
20:30 - Pasta

So that's it people, hope you enjoyed, I'm not blogging about my weekend consumption but don't worry I'll not go off the rails... too much...

Until Monday!

Alrighty There People.

Well, just in case you were wondering, the outcome from the hospital was fractured finger, not broken. Phew.

Day 03 - Wednesday 01 August 2007

Alrighty There People.

Today was a harsh day. It started with my wife's grandmother having fall this morning (she's 93). She was getting some air at the front door when she fell backwards and landed on her hand. She phoned the doctor, who told her to be there at 3.00. When she got there, he sent her to A&E for an X Ray. When I finished work at 5.00, she still hadn't been seen. I checked the electronic board, and she was 4th in line to be seen. When I checked again ten minutes later, she was 11th. What a great system.

Anyway, we had to go then, because we needed to look for a new sofa, and Wednesday evenings are the ONLY time we can do that. We got a text at seven, saying that she had been seen, that the finger was broken, and that she needed to go back tomorrow at 11. Because that makes sense...

Anyway, because we were out and about, we just grabbed a McDonalds (groan), I gave my wife a quick driving lesson, and then we got back in at about 8pm and crashed out.

But here are today's incomings:

Weight: 13.10 (Aaargh!)
07:05 - Breakfast - 2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
07:45 - Press ups x 40
09:00 - 1 glass of water
10:00 - 1 glass of water
11:00 - 1 tangerine
11:10 - 1 glass of water
12:40 - 2 brown bread rolls with ham and cucumber

13:00 - 1 glass of water
13:10 - Banana
15:00 - 1 glass of water

16:00 - 1 glass of water
16:15 - 1 tangerine
18:00 - Big Mac, Fries
22:00 - Prawn coctail Wotsits, coffee mocha, 2 biscuits

I feel that I did really well throughout the day, but then when I finished work it went a bit pearshaped. But I had a good fruit intake today, and I'm keeping up with drinking plenty of water.

Day 02 - Tuesday 31 July 2007

Alrighty There People.

Okay, well, after the (relative) success of yesterday comes today's offerings... I must say, I was quite pleased with yesterday. I know that I did not go on the exercise bike, which was a shame, nor did I eat entirely healthily... but I was pleased.

Oh, and did I mention that I now have a Nintendo Wii? Yes, I have... and maybe I can lose some weight playing Wii Sports or something (or SSX Blur... cool game...)

Anyway, I was shocked and disappointed to see the scales today (check out the image below, and compare that to yesterday... what do you think?)

Here we go:

Weight: 13.8
07:45 - Breakfast - 1/2 a biopot low fat strawberry yogurt
08:10 - Press ups x 30
12:30 - Ham and cucumber rolls (x2) (brown bread)
12:45 - Packet of peppermint creme poppets...
12:50 - Peppermint Creme bar...
13:10 - Banana
13:30 - 1 glass of water
14:47 - 2 glasses of water
15:10 - 1 tangerine
15:35 - 1 glass of water
16:38 - 1 apple
17:00 - 1 tangerine
18:00 - Pork steaks, new potatoes, carrots
18:15 - 1 Rolo yogurt
21:30 - 1 mocha and three biscuits...

Again, not fantastic, but check out the four pieces of fruit and the veg with me dinner! Get in - that's over the recommended 5 a Day! Rock on.

Anyway, here's the image that I took whilst on the scales this morning... I can't understand it...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!

Day 01 - Monday 30 July 2007

Alrighty There People.

Yes, you've read correctly. Day 01. Why Day 01? Because since I started keeping this blog, I've lost no weight. Zero. Zilch. Naught. Nowt. Not a sausage. And that has made me sick. No, that has made me angry. With myself. Because I haven't had the self control to stick to my guns and lose the weight that I said that I would. So now I'm gonna give myself a new regime, and I am going to stick to it.

You may be wondering why I'm putting myself through this again. Well, it's quite simple really. The whole point of the diet was to lose weight for the holiday. Well, the holiday has been and gone. I hadn't managed to lose any weight, and looking back over the photos, I feel ashamed. My belly hangs out, I've got a bad case of man boobs, and I must have about 4 chins. Honestly, it's disgusting. So, I'm going to lose the flab.

Now, I'm not giving myself any time frame to do this. You may think that this is silly, but I'm not going to go stupid - I'm going to go healthy. I'm cutting down (or trying to cut down) on the junk that I consume. I'm going to eat more healthy food. I'm going to lead a more healthy lifestyle. I'm going to weigh myself daily and take pictures of my weight and post them here. I'm going to do press ups every day, hopefully twice a day. I'm going to try and get out on my bike at least once a week, and I will try to get on my exercise bike every day. Now, this is going to take some doing, and this first week may be hard (I'm writing this on Wednesday, I haven't been on my exercise bike yet.) But, at work, I am climbing the stairs to the fourth floor rather than taking the lift. I get into the office dripping with sweat, which shows how unhealthy I am, but I am determined not to use that lift.

I'm going to keep you updated with my progress. I may not be able to add to this blog daily, but when I do update, I will add a daily account as seperate entries, so that you can see my progress.

Every month, I'm going to put together a chart to show how my weight has increased/decreased/fluctated, and any readings I get from my bike/exercise bike. I am really, really desperate to lose some weight.

Okay, well, if you're still with me, this was how today went. It wasn't perfect, I'll admit that, but it was better than it has been recently. Here goes:

Weight: 13.7 (I think - I need some digital scales...)
07:30 - Breakfast - 1/2 a biopot low fat strawberry yogurt
07:45 - Press ups x 30
10:30 - Mango smoothie (really, really nice) (tin of mangoes, a few scoops of ice cream, and a splash of milk)
11:00 - Cake from Greggs (not my fault, someone brought it in at work)
12:30 - Ham and cucumber rolls (x2) (brown bread)
13:00 - Apple
19:00 - Macaroni cheese and jacket potatoe with cheese
22:00 - 3 x mini double chocolate chip muffins :(

Throughout the day I had about 5 glasses of water.

Okay, so it wasn't brilliant, but it was a start. Let's hope I do better tomorrow...

Until tomorrow,

Adios!
